Alberta Tilkey

Alberta Morris Tilkey, 44, of Cadiz, Ohio, died Monday, August 26, 2002 at Harrison Community Hospital, Cadiz, OH. She was born July 17, 1958 in Barnesville, Ohio, a daughter of the late Kenneth Morris and the late Margaret Carrel Morris Powell. She attended the Deersville United Methodist Church and was a member of T.O.P.S. and a graudate of Cadiz High Schoool. She was an Administrative Assistant in the Harrison County Magistrate Court; was a former employee of Equitable Savings and Loan in Cadiz and a former employee of the Guernsey County Dept. of Health and Human Services. She was preceded in death in addition to her parents, by a brother-in-law, John Adams. Surviving are her husband, Edwin Tilkey, whom she married April 17, 1993; 3 brothers, Kenneth Carrel and his wife, Liz of Berlin Germany, Meredith Morris and his wife, Mary of Zion, IL, Thomas Morris and his wife, Sue of Navarre, OH; 4 sisters, Estella Kendig of Tampa, FL, Margaret (Winnie) Sams and her husband, Jim of East Canton, OH, Susan Adams of Cadiz, Connie Harmon and her husband, Jim of Louisville, OH; 7 nieces; 7 nephews; 2 great nephews; 3 great nieces; a sister-in-law, Mary Joe Tilkey of Cadiz; many special friends, including Robin Miles and Eloise Mace, both of Cadiz; and her cats, Hannah and Sheba. A graveside service will be held, Wednesday, August 28, 2002 at 1:00 p.m. at Patterson Cemetery, Deersville, Ohio with Rev. Charles Bennett officiating.
