Bonnie Stewart

Bonnie L. Stewart, 76, of Jewett, Ohio, passed away peacefully Thursday, October 31, 2019 at her home, surrounded by her family. She was born March 7, 1943 in Steubenville, Ohio, a daughter of the late John B. and Martha Ilene McMannis Dunlap. Bonnie was a member of the Hopedale American Legion Auxiliary and was a Protestant by Faith. She was a caregiver to all, who never met a stranger. She made friends with everyone she met. She is preceded in death by her son, David Stewart, who was waiting to welcome her home. Surviving are her husband Lenny Stewart; a son Carl (Jessica) Stewart of Jewett; two daughters, Renee (William) Ralston of Rayland and Melissa (Robert) Hursey of Jewett; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; a brother John Woodrow "Woodie" (Linda) Dunlap of Cadiz; three sisters, Joyce Maxwell of Cadiz, Phyllis (Art) Best of Hartville, and Kathy Cusick of Cadiz. As was Bonnie's wish, a time of remembrance will be celebrated by family and friends at the Hopedale American Legion on Sunday, November 10th at 1:00 p.m..
