Carl Goodrich

Carl V. Goodrich, 85, of Bowerston, formerly of Cadiz and Jewett, died Saturday at Dover Union Hospital. He was born September 2, 1924 in St. Clairsville, Ohio, a son of the late Benjamin Carl and Anna Irene Keyser Goodrich. Mr. Goodrich was a retired Coal Miner from Consolidation Coal Company. He was an Army Air Corp Veteran of WW II and a member of the UMWA and the Teamsters. He was a member of the American Legion. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Devin Stock; and two brothers, William Glenn and Charles Goodrich. Surviving are his wife Sara Kerwood Goodrich; a son Justin (Debbie) Goodrich of Cadiz; a daughter, Vicki (Dan) Kuhn of Ragersville; two grandchildren; two great grandchildren; a brother, Donald Goodrich of Canton; three sisters, Dixie Foster of Scio, Jeannie Bernhardt of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and Shirley Watson of Dover. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz, Ohio.
