Carl A. Tucker

Carl A. Tucker, 80, of Holloway, passed away on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at Barnesville Hospital, WVU Medicine. Carl was born April 26, 1946, in Belmont County, Ohio, to the late Carl McClinic and Lillian Tucker Smith.

Carl was a farmhand in his earlier years. He then went on to work in the coal mine at Sagna and then became a truck driver. He enjoyed gardening and fishing with his grandson. He especially loved working on his truck and tractor.

He was preceded in death in addition to his parents by a son, Dennis Lucas.

Surviving are his wife of 46 years, Betty (Humphrey) Tucker, children, Richie Tucker, Linda Tucker and Jackie Tucker; grandchildren, Shane (Courtney) Marr, Alex Abel, Liam Kulpa, Abrianna Lucas and Kasi Rogers; brother-in-law, Timothy Humphrey; special nieces, Sherry (Jack) Johnson and Tiffany Humphrey; and several other nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, October 23, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. with Paul Giffin officiating. Burial will follow at Rockhill Cemetery.
