Carol J. Westfall

Carol J. Westfall, 80, of Cherry Valley, passed away on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at Valley Hospice Center North in Steubenville with her family by her side. She was born April 15, 1945, in Cherry Valley, a daughter of the late Ralph and Maggie Tipton Carothers.

Carol had a special talent for cooking. She enjoyed being the cook at Spanky’s Restaurant in Wintersville as well as baking for her family. She was a talented painter and a master in the art of crocheting. Her favorite activity was watching her grandkids play sports and ride horses. She absolutely loved being a Grandma and Wife.

She was preceded in death in addition to her parents; by her siblings: Donald Carothers, David Carothers, Edna Gee, Dorthy Dahms, Ruth Taylor and Buck Carothers.

Surviving is her husband, Audie L. Westfall; her daughter, Kelly Sancreek Zeroski; her grandchildren: Marley and Wyatt Zeroski; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at later date. The family is being assisted by Clark-Kirkland-Barr Funeral Home, Cadiz, Ohio.
