Cecil Christian

Cecil H. Christian, 72, of Cadiz, died Tuesday at Trinity Medical Center, West in Steubenville. He was born March 15, 1942 in Scio, Ohio, a son of the late Wesley J. and Myrtle Jane Freeman Christian. Cecil was a retired employee of the AEP Cardinal Plant in Brilliant. He was a U.S. Marine during the Vietnam Era and was a member of the Hopedale American Legion and the Cadiz VFW. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ora Banks Christian. Surviving are two sisters, Twila Porter and Vickie Austin, both of Cleveland; a brother, Timothy Christian of Cadiz; and a step-daughter, Amy (Banks) Satterfield of Columbus; a niece and three nephews. Friends may call Monday from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral services at 1:00 p.m. at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, 172 S. Main St., Cadiz, OH. Pastor Kenneth Washington will officiate.
