Chester D. Grose

Chester D. Grose, 88, of Cleveland, passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2024 at Cleveland Clinic Lutheran Hospital. He was born September 17, 1936 in Clay County, West Virginia a son of the late Romie and Lula Short Grose. 

Chester was a veteran of the United States Army. 

He was preceded in death in addition to his parents; by his wife, Shirley Daniels Grose in 2021; his siblings: Clara Grose Cadle, Artie Grose, Jack Grose, Wanda Grose Cadle.

Surviving are his children: Steve Grose of North Ridgeville, Ohio and Pat Bragg of Cleveland, Ohio; his siblings: Clyde (Gloria) Grose of Cleveland, Ernie (Sandra) Grose, of Oak Hill, West Virginia, Nellie Marx, of Rochester, New York and several nieces and nephews.

A private service will held at the convenience of the family at Clark-Kirkland-Barr Funeral Home, Cadiz, Ohio. Burial will follow at Fairview Gardens Cemetery, Jewett, Ohio. Military honors by the Cadiz American Legion.
