Clarence H. â�œJackâ Whitlatch, 83, of Cadiz, passed away Friday, November 06, 2009 at the Carriage Inn of Cadiz after a brief illness. Born to the late Merle Whitlatch-Whitehair in Jacksonville, Ohio on August 1, 1926, Jack went on to be a bread truck driver, master mechanic and coal miner at R. & F. Coal Company. He enjoyed golfing, bowling and traveling, and was a member of Kirkwood Lodge 446, F. & A.M. On September 10, 1947, Jack married Barbara Cole, who survives him. Together they have two sons, Tom (Char) Whitlatch and Michael (Nancy) Whitlatch, all of Cadiz; a grandson, Christopher Whitlatch and a half brother, Gene Whitehair of Cadiz. Jack also always enjoyed the company of his dog, Lucky. Friends may call Tuesday, November 10, 2009 from 12 noon until time of services at 2:00 p.m. at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz. Rev. Craig Haney will officiate. Burial will follow at Cadiz Union Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.clark-kirkland.com
