Denzel Norris

Denzel Charles Norris, 74, of Donnerville, Ohio, formerly of Cadiz, Ohio, died Sunday, June 24, 2001 at East Ohio Regional Hosptial, Martins Ferry, Ohio. He was born July 25, 1926 in Warren, Ohio, a son of the late Forrest and Ada Ullman Norris. He was a former employee of Oliver Coal Company and Bedway Coal Company, and a retired Welder from Ohio Coal and Construction Company of Rayland, Ohio. He attended the First Church of Christ in Cadiz, Ohio. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Harold Norris; and two sisters, Evelyn Rothenbuhler and Marie Hoskinson. Surviving are his wife, Louise Barker Norris; a son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Kathy Norris of Senecaville, Ohio; a grandson, Matthew Norris of Columbus; a brother, Don Norris of Cadiz; and a sister, Beverly McRae of Howard, Ohio. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz, Ohio with David Collier officiating. Burial will be in Cadiz Union Cemetery.
