Donald Rose

Donald R. Rose, 84, of Cadiz, died Sunday, December 25, 2016 at Harrison Community Hospital, Cadiz, Ohio. He was born August 7, 1932 in Deersville, Ohio a son of the late Ora and Hazel Cox Rose. He was a former coal miner and truck driver, a member of the Hopedale American Legion and VFW; and a veteran of the US Army having served in Korea. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Carlon Rose; and a step son, Harold "Pete" Barnhart. Surviving are his son, Donnie Rose of Cadiz; 3 grandchildren: Tony, Ryan and Leeah; a brother, Rev. Allen Rose of Butler, Ohio and a sister, Kay Mizer of Barnhill, Ohio. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 30 from 2:00 p.m. until time of memorial service at 4:00 p.m. at the Hopedale Church of Christ with Dean Blythe officiating.
