Dorothy Kovacik

Dorothy Kovacik, 87, of Cadiz, died Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at her home. She was born November 14, 1926 in Cadiz, a daughter of the late Harry C. and Martha Cope Raber. Mrs. Kovacik was a member of the First Church of Christ in Cadiz and was a retired Secretary at Consolidation Coal Company in Cadiz. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Kovacik in 2012; a son, Bruce Kovacik; a granddaughter, Christie Sickle; and two sisters, Margaret Raber and Mary O'Bradovich. Surviving are a son, Paul (Shawn) Kovacik of Columbus; a daughter, Martha (Scott) Sedgmer of Cadiz; five grandchildren; and several great grandchildren. Friends may call Saturday, November 8 from 12:00 p.m. until time of funeral services at 2:00 p.m. at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, 172 S. Main St., Cadiz, Ohio. Paul Giffin will officiate.
