Elma (Elmo) Piccoli Kralik, 95, of Hopedale, passed away on Friday, July 24, 2026 at Gables Care Center in Hopedale, Ohio. She was born on the coldest day in January on the 15th 1931 in Parlett, Ohio a daughter of the late Petro and Mary Zullo Piccoli.

Elma met her husband Jerry while working at Scio Pottery and married in 1954. She became a widow at 43, with two of her children still at home. She supported her family working at Salem Cleaning and babysitting many young ones in Jewett, which she fondly shared memories of through the years. She enjoyed helping at Bingo for the Jewett Volunteer Fire Department.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother Pete Morandini and her granddaughter, Samantha Kralik.

The little Italian Firecracker that she was, she survived weighing two pounds at birth as well as breast cancer in her 50’s.

Elma is survived by her children: Joe of Hopedale, who lived with and cared for her in later years, Judy (Kevin) Bosler of Dover and Andy (Karen) of Phoenix, Arizona. Elma shared a close bond with her sister, Margaret Gregory of Hopedale, calling each other several times a day. Five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews that dearly loved their Aunt.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, July 28, 2026 from 12:00 p.m. until time of her funeral service at 2:00 p.m. at the Hopedale Church of Christ, 306 Lahm Drive with Dean Blythe officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Gardens Cemetery, Jewett, Ohio.
