Faye Carter

Faye Nichols Carter, 88, of Piqua, formerly of Cadiz and Dennison, Ohio, died November 4, 2002 at Piqua. She was born December 13, 1913, in Moorefield, Ohio, a daughter of the late Charles O. Edwards and Rowena Quinn Edwards. She was a retired Florist at the former Bow-Kay Flower Shop in Cadiz, a graduate of Moorefield High School in 1931, and a member of Scott United Methodist Church in Cadiz. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert E. Nichols in 1969, her second husband, James Carter in 1995, a brother, Raymond Edwards, and a sister, Ruth Ford. Surviving are her son Ray and his wife, Paige Nichols of Piqua; a stepson Jeff and his wife, Millie Carter of Columbus; a stepdaughter Lois and her husband Barnett Golding of Columbus; 3 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren. Friends may call Friday from noon until time of service at 1:00 p.m. at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home. Rev. Robert Hooker will officiate. Burial will follow at Cadiz Union Cemetery.
