Frank D. Rejonis, 62, of Deersville, Ohio passed away peacefully following a lengthy illness on Monday, May 26, 2025, at the Lifecare Hospice Truman House in New Philadelphia, Ohio surrounded by his family. He was born August 31, 1962, in Wheeling, West Virginia, a son of the late Frank and Emily Albrecht Rejonis.
Upon graduating from high school, Frank went on to the police academy. He worked in law enforcement for over 20 years. Frank loved the outdoors, especially hunting and archery; and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Dennison for many years. He was an active member of the Traditional Archery Society. He competed in many archery competitions with the TAS and even went on to win the TAS Bowhunter Regional Championship of Ohio “Longbow Champion” title in 2020. He was also a member of the BNA Sportsman’s Club in Roswell, Ohio.
He was preceded in death in addition to his parents, by his son, Kenneth Patrick Rejonis and a niece, Bethany Rejonis.
He is survived by his wife, of 17 years, Anita Norman Rejonis, his children, Derek “Boo” (Kim Dillon) Rejonis, Jenny (Jim) Conner, Becky (Tom) Zurcher, Haddie (Nikki) Thompson and Amy (Nate) Ady; grandchildren, Olivia, Jake, Kori, Wyatt, Emma, Audrie, Sadie, Thomas, Samuel, Zander, Lily, Gracie, Maddie, Chloe and Bailey; great-grandchildren, Mary, Josie, Sophia, Maison, Warren, Jensen and Henry; 2 brothers: Douglas (Eva) Rejonis of St. Clairsville and Keith (Carri) Rejonis of Bellaire, Ohio; and many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are Friday, May 30, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Clark-Kirkland-Barr Funeral Home. A private family burial will follow at Patterson Cemetery, Deersville, Ohio.
