Frankie Dot Cassell, 91, of Dover, formerly of Cadiz, passed away on Friday, March 15, 2024 at Aultman Hospital in Canton, surrounded by her family. She was born December 17, 1932 in Mannington, West Virginia a daughter of the late Charles and Genevieve Pearl Gray Booth.
Dot was a member of the Alliance Church in Dover and a past member of the First Church of Christ in Cadiz where she served as a Sunday School Teacher and the Women’s Group for several years.
She loved her children and grandkids and especially enjoyed watching her great grandkids play softball, baseball, basketball and going to gymnastic meets.
She was preceded in death in addition to her parents; by her husband, Riley S. Cassell in 2011; and her brother, Max L. Booth.
Surviving are her 4 children: Randy (Barb) McEndree of Massillon,, Charlene (Mike) Bigler of Dover, Patrick Cassell of Massillon and Michael (Michele) Cassell of Winder, Georgia; 3 grandchildren: Britny (T.J. Geers) Bigler, Kayla and Travis (Kristi) Cassell; 2 step grandchildren: Jeremy (Emily) Leech and Christopher (Kristen) Leech; great grandchildren: Jacob Riley Cassell Dufour, Harper Milne, Kendall Geers, Boston Cassell, Gatlin Cassell and Liam Zigler; and 2 step great grandchildren: Addy Leech and Jeremiah Leech.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 22, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Short Creek Cemetery, Georgetown, Ohio with Paul Giffin officiating. The family is being assisted by Clark-Kirkland-Barr Funeral Home, Cadiz, Ohio.
