Genevie L. DeWalt, 89 of Louisville, formerly of Cadiz died Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at Altercare in Louisville, Ohio. She was born December 15, 1923 in Harrison County, Ohio a daughter of the late Fred and Corena Adams Rose. She was a sales clerk for Hancock Fabrics in Austin, Texas and a member of the First Church of Christ. She was preceded in death in addition to her parents, by her husband William D. DeWalt, Sr. and a brother Bill Rose. She is survived by a son William David DeWalt, Jr. of Austin, Texas; a granddaughter Brandy Lawson of Canton; 4 great grandchildren: Kayla, Brett, Garrett, and Layne. Graveside service will be held Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Lee's Run Cemetery, Cadiz, Ohio with Paul Giffin officiating. The memorial guestbook may be signed at www.clark-kirkland.com.
