George R. Conaway, 81, of Cadiz, formerly of Cherry Valley, died Thursday, May 19, 2006 at the Carriage Inn of Cadiz. He was born December 24, 1924, a son of the late Mary Hennis. He was a Coal Truck Driver for the Y. & O. Coal Company. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ralph Hennis. Surviving are brothers, Ed Hennis of Hopedale, Jim Hennis of Jewett, and Bill and Danny Hennis, both of Texas; sisters, Irene Hennis of Texas and Margaret Smith of Cherry Valley. A graveside service will be held at the Harrison County Cemetery, Cadiz on Monday, May 22, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. Arrangements are by Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz.
