Gerald "Fritz" Jones

Gerald F. “Fritz” Jones, 77, of Cadiz, went to be with the Lord on  Thursday, August 26, 2021 at the Meadows of Cadiz. He was born October 10, 1943 in Cadiz, Ohio to Richard and Edith Bell Jones.

Fritz was a former coal miner and a member of St. James A.M.E. Church in Cadiz.

He was preceded in death in addition to his parents; by his daughter,Lauren Newman; and brothers and sisters: Richard, Larry, Mike, Elaine, Ellen, Jo Ann and Sharon.

Surviving are his wife, Charlotte White Jones; his children: Robin Jones, Gerald Jones Jr., Richard Jones and Monica Lynn Jones; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; brothers and sisters: Gordon Jones, Jerry Jones, Donna Brooks, Toni Jones, Roberta West.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. with Tyrone Smith officiating at St. James A.M.E. Church, 300 East Market Street, Cadiz, Ohio 43907. The family is being assisted by Clark-Kirkland-Barr Funeral Home, Cadiz, Ohio.
