Geraldine ''Jerry'' DeGarmo, 73, of Jewett, Ohio, died Tuesday, October 16, 2001 at her home. She was born April 6, 1928 in Tiltonsville, Ohio, a daughter of the late William Milhoan and Gertrude Burkhead Milhoan Smith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Eugene ''Jim'' DeGarmo in 1999; 2 sisters, Eileen Steiner and Juanita Milhoan; and 1 brother, Lee Smith. Surviving are a son Harold E. (Jake) DeGarmo, Mineral City, OH; 3 daughters, Mrs. Joel (Wanda) Ignace, Smithfield, Mrs. John (Darlene) Kerwood, Jewett and Pinkie Armstrong, Mineral City, OH; 15 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Friends may call Saturday from 3-4 p.m. at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz, Ohio, where memorial services will be held at 4:00 p.m. with Joel Ignace officiating.
