Gertrude Glessner

Gertrude Virginia Glessner, 93, of Belmont, formerly of Cadiz, died Monday, December 23, 2013 at the Carriage Inn of Cadiz. She was born March 2, 1920 in Cadiz, a daughter of the late John and Mary Campbell Neville. She was a homemaker and a 7th Day Adventist. She was preceded in death in addition to her parents, by her husband William Joseph Glessner; 2 sons: Edward and Richard; a daughter, Patricia; and 7 brother s and sisters. She is survived by a daughter, Charlotte Glessner of St. Clairsville; 3 grandchildren: Annette, Tami and Laura; 4 great grandchildren; a couple of great great grandchildren and 2 nieces. Calling hours will be Friday, December 27 from Noon until time of service at 2:00 p.m. at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz with Rev. Gene Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Cadiz Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Gertrude asked for donations to the Belmont County Animal Shelter, 45244 National Road West, St. Clairsville, Ohio 43950.
