Harold Victor Alexander, Jr. "Mr. A.", 71, of Cadiz, died Thursday, July 31, 2014 at Harrison Community Hospital, Cadiz. He was born April 15, 1943 in Martins Ferry, Ohio, a son of the late Harold Victor Alexander, Sr. and the late Edith May King Alexander. Mr. Alexander worked at Roger's Western Auto in Cadiz for sixteen years and was a retired teacher at the Jefferson County JVS after twenty three years of service. He was the founder and owner-operator of eohio.net, the first internet service provider in Eastern Ohio, was a member of VOCA, and loved anything to do with electronics. Surviving are his wife, Marilyn Knight Alexander; children, Tammy (David) Miller of New Philadelphia, Vic (Lisa) Alexander of Ormond Beach, FL, Deborah Sue Mills of St. Clairsville, Anita (Mike) Manbeck of Cadiz, and Tom (Betty) Poland of Cadiz; eleven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; and two sisters, Sally Huff of Scio and Dorothy Huff of Sullivan, IL. Friends may call Sunday, 1-4 p.m. at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz, where services will be held Monday at 1:00 p.m., with Rev. Jack Visser officiating. Burial will follow at Ridgeview Cemetery near Scio. Memorial contributions may be made to Charity Hospice, P.O. Box 2483, Wintersville, OH 43953.
