Henrietta Ann Goski McAfee

Henrietta Ann Goski McAfee, 85, of Jewett, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at the Country Club Retirement Center, Dover, Ohio with her family by her side. She was born July 14, 1938, in Adena, Ohio, a daughter of the late Henry Mysona and Francis Potkoski Goski.

Henrietta was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was an amazing cook and caretaker. She was a hardcore Dallas Cowboys fan, and also rooted for the Ohio State Buckeyes. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-father, Benjamin Goski, and her husband of 58 years, Thomas McAfee, Sr. in 2016.

Surviving are her 11 children: Thomas (Shelly) McAfee, Jr. of Jewett, Anna (Ron) Chaffin of Germano, Frank (Debbie) McAfee of Flushing, Roger McAfee of Jewett, Wendell McAfee of Jewett, Dolores McAfee of Missouri, Brian McAfee of New Philadelphia, John McAfee of Jewett, Cindy (Jason) McAfee of New Philadelphia, Jean (Paul) Kernan of Jewett and Donnie McAfee of New Philadelphia; many great grandchildren; a number of great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, and the caretakers at the nursing home who became part of her family.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, January 29, 2024, from 2-4 and 5-8 at Clark-Kirkland-Barr Funeral Home, Cadiz where funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Pete Tuchek officiating. Burial will follow at Hanover Cemetery, Scio, Ohio.
