Howard Vanfossen

Howard Earl VanFossen, 77, of Cadiz, died Wednesday, March 25, 2020 at Wheeling Hospital. He was born April 19, 1942 in Cadiz, a son of the late Daniel Earl and Ada Cecilia Todd VanFossen. Howard was a mechanic having worked at various places including: Consol, Valley Mining, Ohio Machinery and the Brooke County Landfill. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife Barbara Becker VanFossen; and his second wife, Lyndall Johnston VanFossen. Surviving are a son, Daniel VanFossen and his wife Sarah of Freeport; a daughter, Robin Helvey and her husband Ken of Crane, Missouri; 2 grandchildren: Kenneth Helvey and Samantha VanFossen Chrzan and her husband Jon; and a great grandson, Alex.
