Jan Marinacci of Newark, formerly of Cadiz, Ohio left this earthly life on February 26, 2024 at the Selma Markowitz Center of Central Ohio. She was born on July 22, 1942 in Holloway, Ohio to Donald and Freda (Anderson) Jones. 

 In Heath, Ohio, she leaves behind a son and daughter in law, Eric and Lisa (Mattern) Marinacci, grandchildren, Jeremy (Ashley), Kylie, Caden, and two great grandchildren, Henry and Rose, all of whom she treasured and adored. She also leaves behind her only brother, Don (Joann) Jones of Texas, as well as her stepmother Sandra (Jones) Barnhart, and four sisters, all of Ohio, Trudy (David) Barr, Cheryl (Tim) Gordon, Amy Norris, April Harrigal, nieces, nephews, cousins, and her best lifelong friend Sandra (Dick) Cunningham of Florida.

 Jan was proceeded in death by her parents and two brothers in law, George Harrigal and Dale Norris, and a niece Kellie (Jones) McAfee. 

Jan led a wonderful life, loved her family, and was loved by all who met her. She would give anything she had or do anything to help someone else. She was a blessing to her family and to her many friends. 

Per Jan’s wishes, there will be no public services. The family is being assisted by Clark-Kirkland-Barr Funeral Home in Cadiz, Ohio.
