Jana Ferrell

Jana Lee DeCorte Ferrell, 67, of Cadiz died Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at Gables Care Center in Hopedale, Ohio. She was born August 10, 1950 in Wheeling, West Virginia. Graduate of Cadiz High School Class of 1968. She was the daughter of the late Alfred DeCorte and Helen Romshak DeCorte Harris and stepfather, Harmon Harris. She is survived by her husband Kenneth Ray Ferrell and 3 daughters: Lalaynia Ferrell VanAlstine of Augusta, Georgia along with her husband Brandon Cooksey and sons James and Reed VanAlstine, Laura Ferrell Cope of Cadiz and her husband Shane Cope and sons Grant and Taylor Cope; and Lisa Ferrell of Cadiz. She was retired from McDonalds after a combined total of 22 years at St. Clairsville and Cadiz. Loving wife, mother and grandmother. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for contributions or donations may be made to the Gables Care Center Activity Fund, 350 Lahm Drive, Hopedale, Ohio 43976. A private service will be at the convenience of the family. The family is being assisted by Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz, Ohio.
