Janice Haas

Janice Louise Haas, 78, of Freeport, died Monday, January 3, 2022 in the Emergency Room at Trinity West in Steubenville, Ohio. She was born December 22, 1943 in Rochester, Pennsylvania to the late Bernard John and Mae Beatrice Smith Icenhower and she was raised by the late Helen and Robert Jeffers.

In addition to her parents and the parents who raised her, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold “Bud” Roger Haas; a son, Timothy Lewis Smith; brothers: Terri Icenhower, Robert Icenhower, Bill Icenhower, Rodger Jeffers; and her sisters: Carol Wines, Linda Whitten and Reno Icenhower.

Surviving are her daughter, Sandra (William) Adamini; sisters: Patti Vanmatre, Donna Aleshire, Shirley Lude, Sandy Payton; brother, David Icenhower; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, January 8 from 11:00 a.m until time of service at 1:00 p.m. at Clark-Kirkland-Barr Funeral Home, Cadiz, with Rev. Pete Tuchek officiating. Burial will follow at Cassville Cemetery, Freeport, Ohio.
