Jean Quattrociocche

Jean Quattrociocche, 87, of Cadiz, died Sunday, December 1, 2013 at Harrison Community Hospital. She was born June 20, 1926 in Amsterdam, Ohio, a daughter of the late James and Florence Beach Simpson. Jean was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Cadiz, where she served as a Stewardess and Trustee. She graduated from Cadiz High School in 1944 and was a former Ticket Taker for Eastern Airlines, a Payroll Clerk for Y.&O. Coal Co., and was a retired Clerk for the Village of Cadiz, Water Department. She was a longtime and active member of the former Harrison and Unionport Chapters of the Order of the Eastern Star. She loved reading and her Pittsburgh Steelers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, F.R. (Nundy) Quattrociocche in 1973; and by two brothers, James and Robert Simpson. Surviving are her children, Letitia Quattrociocche of Maynard, Joe Quattrociocche of Cadiz and Laura (David) Myers of Norwalk, Ohio; three grandchildren, Joshua, Jennifer and Kendra; seven great grandchildren, Hannah, Noah, Max, Kennedy, Zahki, Zayden and Z'Mari; and a brother, Joe (Marsha) Simpson of Troy, Ohio. Friends may call Thursday from noon until time of service of remembrance at 1:00 p.m. at the Presbyterian Church of Cadiz, 154 W. Market St., Cadiz, OH. Rev. Samuel Betts will officiate.
