Jeanene P. Owens, 67, Cadiz, died Friday, April 4, at Wheeling Medical Park. She was born June 27, 1935 in Cadiz, Ohio a daughter of the late James H. Freeman and Anna Mae Robinson Freeman. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death in addition to her parents, by her husband, Thomas Willie Owens; 2 brothers: Clayton and Lorenzo Freeman; a sister Tempia Christian. Surviving are 4 children: Diana White, Patricia Smith, and Christina Jordan, all of Cadiz and Irvin (Rusty) Freeman of Temple, Texas; 6 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; 2 brothers: Tony Freeman of Pasadena, Texas and David Freeman of Columbus; a sister, Delphine Freeman of Steubenville, Ohio. Calling hours are Monday, April 7, from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Ray Ellenbaugh. Interment will be at Cadiz Union Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
