Jerry R. Jones

Jerry R. Jones, 81 of Cadiz, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 7, 2025 at his home. He was born November 27, 1944 in Cadiz, Ohio a son of the late Richard and Edith Bell Jones.

Jerry was retired from Koppers Chemical Plant in Follansbee, West Virginia. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Constance Lyn Wheeler Jones; brothers: Dickie, Larry, Gordon, Fritz, Mike and a baby brother; and his sisters: Elaine, Joann, Ellen, Donna and Sharon.

Surviving is his son, Preston (Rhandii) Jones; his granddaughters: Olivia and Emma Jones; sisters: Roberta (Rick) and Toni; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. The family is being assisted by Clark-Kirkland-Barr Funeral Home, Cadiz, Ohio.
