Joann Bigger

JoAnn Bigger, 65, of Cadiz Ohio, passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2026 at Valley Hospice Center North in Steubenville, Ohio. She was born in Wheeling, West Virginia on September 13, 1960 a daughter of the late James and Carmelita Barnes Bigger.

JoAnn was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her brother Ed Bigger and his life partner Bunny. And several cats that were her life. Where she was, you could find Mt. Dew and a cat. JoAnn had many friends who helped her enjoy her life, including Nan and Joyce. But two special ones, Johnny Hawthorne and Mary Kay Schuetz, that will miss her dearly.

JoAnn wishes were to be cremated and be buried with her parents. The family is being assisted by Clark-Kirkland-Barr Funeral Home, Cadiz, Ohio.

She will be missed by all that knew her. Family would like to thank the 5th and 9th floor at WVU in Weirton and Valley Hospice for the care that she received.
