Joel Freeman

Joel Patrick Freeman, 59, of Clearwater, FL, formerly of Cadiz, OH, died Monday, February 11, 2013 in Clearwater after a long battle with Diabetes. He was born January 15, 1954 in Wheeling, WV, a son of the late Charles and Lillian Banks Freeman. Joel graduated from Cadiz High School in 1973 and will be remembered for his music and singing, his warm personality and sense of humor. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Sharon Freeman and a brother, James Freeman. Surviving are two sisters, Gwen Freeman and Vivian "Susie" (Gordon) Jones and a brother Randy (Shirley) Ball, all of Cadiz; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; and a close friend, Cheryl Hill of Clearwater. A memorial service will be held at a date to be announced. Local arrangements are by Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz.
