John A. Godman, 88, of Cadiz, died Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at Harrison Community Hospital, Cadiz. He was born November 10, 1922 in Chicago, Illinois, a son of the late Forrest Leonard and Grace Edith Meneely Godman. Mr. Godman served in the U.S. Army in WW II, where he was a private. He was a longtime resident of the Harrison County Home. Surviving are four children: Richard, John, James and Kathy Godman; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. A private service was held at the convenience of the family at the Harrison County Cemetery. Arrangements are by Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz.
