John Stevenson

John Robert Stevenson, 74 of Cadiz, died Sunday, July 13, 2014 at Acuity Specialty Hospital, Steubenville, Ohio. He was born July 12, 1940 in Dennison, Ohio a son of the late Charles Peter Stevenson and Sally Charlton Stevenson Perry. John was a member of Scott United Methodist Church in Cadiz and was retired from food marketing in California and retired from the USAR after 23 years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather Arnold Perry. He is survived by his wife, Judith Bender Stevenson; stepbrother, Russell (Linda) Perry; 2 stepsisters: Susan (Terry) Stewart and Barbara (Adrian) Pincola all of Cadiz; cousins: Rodney Charlton of Dearborn Heights, Michigan and Richard (Jane) Charlton of Dennison, Ohio. Calling hours will be held Wednesday from noon until time of funeral service at 2:00 p.m. at Scott United Methodist Church, 817 East Market Street with Pastor Mark Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Cadiz Union Cemetery. Military honors by Cadiz American Legion. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
