Joyce Anne Johnson

Joyce Anne Johnson, 88, of Columbus, formerly of Adena, passed away on Saturday, January 6, 2024, at the Arbors of Carroll. She was born October 30, 1935, in Cadiz, Ohio a daughter of the late Paul Clifford and Pansy Martin Mehollin.

Joyce was a legal secretary and a lover of animals, especially horses and dogs.

She was preceded in death in addition to her parents; by her husband, Joseph C. Johnson on September 25, 1981; and a grandson, Gage Dye.

Surviving is her son, Scott (Marsha) Johnson of Columbus; daughter, Joy (Shane) Dye of Logan; grandchildren: Kaleigh Sikora, Jacob (Colette) Johnson, Ethan (Mariah) Johnson, Kassidy (Ryan) Anders, Tim (Bri Lehosit) Johnson, Grace Dye (Steven Merk); great-grandchildren, Kale Riggs and Kai Anders, Reese and Rowan Johnson; a sister, Janet Hennis of Jewett, Ohio.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Clark-Kirkland-Barr Funeral Home, 172 South Main Street, Cadiz, Ohio with Paul Giffin officiating. Burial will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, Ohio.
