Katherine Farms

Katherine Elizabeth ''Kay'' Farms, 91, Cadiz, died Tuesday, March 11, at the Harrison County Home, Cadiz. She was born October 20, 1911 in Kenwood, Ohio a daughter of the late Charles C. Hendershott and Matilda Utter Hendershott. Kay was a retired employee of the State of Ohio having worked in Harrison County for the Aid for the Aged. She was also the retired owner/operator of the former McConnell's Paint Store in Cadiz and a member of the Presbyterian Church of Cadiz. She was preceded in death in addition to her parents, by her husband William E. Farms in 1965; an infant son, and a brother, Charles Hendershot. Surving are a son William R. Farms of Cadiz; a sister, Mary Ellen Tubaugh of Cadiz; 2 grandchildren: William B. Farms of Toledo and Michael F. Farms of Hilliard; 2 great grandchildren, Jessica Farms and Ian Farms both of Augusta, Georgia. Calling hours are Friday, March 14, 7-9 at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz where services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday with Rev. William Hudson officiating. Burial follows at Cadiz Union Cemetery.
