Kathleen Schmidt

Kathleen Schmidt, 84, of Cadiz passed away Monday, January 24, 2022 at her home. She was born February 1, 1937 in Painesville, Ohio a daughter of the late Eino and Gladys Hadey Abbey Filppi.

Kathleen was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs’s Witnesses in Cadiz for 51 years and was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death in addition to her parents; by her husband, Ralph “Don” Donald Schmidt.

Surviving are 6 children: Lori Parker, Michael Schmidt, Susane Occhipinti, Jon Schmidt, Andrea Voight and Tara Campbell; 8 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; and a brother, David Filppi.

A service will be held via zoom at a time to be announced.

The family is being assisted by Clark-Kirkland-Barr Funeral Home, Cadiz, Ohio.
