Kathryn Marie Biery

Kathryn Marie Biery, 91, of Triadelphia, West Virginia passed away on July 19, 2025, in Cadiz, Ohio, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 14, 1934, in St. Clairsville, Ohio to the late Lawerence and Audrey Adella Agnes Mars Hoffman.

Kathryn grew up on a farm in McGraw’s Run, West Virginia. She was a homemaker, fiercely loving and caring for her 10 children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In her free time, she loved playing bingo and going to play the slots. Throughout her life, her family said you could often find her gardening, doing puzzles, reading books, or coloring!

She was preceded in death in addition to her parents by her son, David Biery; and several siblings, nieces and nephews.

She is survived and dearly loved by her children, Kathy (Gary) Gray, Shirley (Joseph P.) Edgell, Barbara (Joe) Wilds, Rick Allen (Georgia L.) Biery, Robert William Biery, Debra Biery, Louis Ulrick (Marie) Biery; and dearly loved by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a brother, Paul Hoffman; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial picnic will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Sally Buffalo Park.
