Lana J. Cologie

Lana J. Cologie, 82, of Jewett, passed away on Saturday, November 9, 2025 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born June 11, 1943 in Wheeling, West Virginia a daughter of the late Kenneth and Stella B. Pincola Dodd.

Lana was a member of St. Teresa Catholic Church in Cadiz and retired from the office of Gary Pearch, Optometrist.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard J. Cologie on June 23, 2022; and her infant daughter, Rhonda Mary Cologie.

Surviving are her 2 sons: Kevin Cologie of East Cadiz and Lonnie (Lisa) Cologie of Jewett; a daughter, Debbie (Doug) Kellar of Albion, Michigan; 6 grandchildren: Jesse, Morgan, Mackenzie, Tristan, Sydney and Cierra; a great granddaughter, Lakin; her sister, Luan Touville of Adena, Ohio; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 from 4-7 at Clark-Kirkland-Barr Funeral Home, Cadiz with Vigil Service at 6:45 p.m. in the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Teresa Catholic Church, 143 South Street, Cadiz with Rev. Fr. Fred Kihm the Celebrant. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Hopedale, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for memorial contributions to the Trinity Tony Teramana Cancer Center, 3204 Johnson Road, Steubenville, Ohio 43952.
