Leonard L. Davis, 59, of Cadiz, died Thursday, April 1, 2010 at Harrison Community Hospital, Cadiz. He was born August 26, 1950 in Martins Ferry, Ohio, a son of Viola Mills Davis of Cadiz and the late Raymond M. Davis, Sr. Leonard ran a lawn service in the Cadiz area. He enjoyed walking and listening to his radio, and was well respected by the entire community. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Genevieve Smith, Viola Davis, and Korleen Freeman; and two nieces. Surviving, in addition to his mother are three brothers, Raymond Davis, Jr. and Everett R. Davis, both of Cleveland and Calvin A. Davis of Cadiz; four sisters, Hattie Davis, Arloween Randle and Louella Burks, all of Cleveland and Dolores Davis of Cadiz; and several nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Friends may call Monday, 4-8 pm. at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz, where funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. James Agnew, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Cadiz Union Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.clark-kirkland.com.
