Lonnie F. King, Sr.

Lonnie F. King, Sr., 61, of Cadiz, Ohio, passed away on October 15, 2026, following a battle with cancer at the Truman House Hospice Center in New Philadelphia, Ohio. He was born on November 9, 1964, in West Virginia to the late Eugene and Sarah (Sabo) King.

Lonnie worked as a laborer and a trainer at LG Smith. In his earlier years he enjoyed fishing and hunting. He loved collecting things and listening to music. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, watching them play sports and participate in demolition derbies.

Lonnie was preceded in death in addition to his parents by his siblings, Henrietta Sabo and Harvey Sabo.

He is survived by his children, Jeffery P. (LeeAnn) King, Lonnie F. King, Jr., Tabatha C. (Robert McAfee) King; and Tim A. (Kathy) Warner; grandchildren, Tylor King, Sarah McAfee, “Woody” McKenna McAfee, Rebecca McAfee, Sawyer Heath, Allie King, Kylie King, Devin King, Millie King, Maze King, Nick King, Dylan King, Brandon King, Jase King, Colton King, Kristen Warner, Destiny Warner, Braden Warner, and Kaden Warner; great-grandchildren; brother, Dale LeMasters; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, from 5-8 at Clark-Kirkland-Barr Funeral Home, Cadiz. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Clark-Kirkland-Barr Funeral Home, Cadiz. Burial will immediately follow and honoring Lonnie’s wishes, he will be laid to rest on his land.
