Lorie Ann Fry

Lorie Ann Fry, 54, of New Athens, passed away on Friday, February 16, 2024 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born January 3, 1970 in Martins Ferry, Ohio a daughter of the late Edward Jack and Barbara Joyce O’Hara Fry, Sr.

Lorie Ann was a member of the Harrison Hills United Pentecostal Church and the Pine Valley Sportsman Club. 

She was preceded in death in addition to her parents; by her grandparents, Robert E. and Lorene Stidd who raised her.

Surviving are her brother, Edward (Laura) Fry, Jr., of Hopedale; nephew, Josh Richards of Hopedale; 2 cousins: Teresa (Mike) Slaga of Harrisville and Terra (Jeff) Woodburn of Cadiz; her loving companion, John Dorsch of New Athens and her 2 dogs: Taz and Midnight and 2 cats: Stormy and Marshmallow. 

Calling hours will be held Wednesday, February 21, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. until time of funeral service at 7:00 p.m. at Clark-Kirkland-Barr Funeral Home, Cadiz with Dean Blythe officiating. Burial will take place at Holly Memorial Gardens at the convenience of the family.
