Louise Fitch

Louise Wheeler Fitch, 90, of Lorain, Ohio, formerly of Cadiz and Parlett, Ohio, died Thursday, November 29, 2001 at the New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph in Lorain. She was born November 25, 1911 in Jamestown, Tennessee, a daughter of the late John T. and Margaret Smith Wheeler. She was a former member of the Hopedale United Methodist Church and attended the Presbyterian Church of Cadiz. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Guy O. Fitch in 1983; 3 brothers, Paul, Thomas, and Joseph Wheeler; 2 sisters, Alice Peters and Frances Jenkins; and a beloved son-in-law, George Riley. Surviving are a son, John B. Fitch and his wife Nicole of Bangor, ME; 5 daughters, Patricia Riley of Lancaster, OH, Ruth A. Fitch, Marion M. Fitch and Phyllis Lambert, all of Columbus, OH, and Mrs. Walter (Martha) Zook of Lorain, OH; 16 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren. Friends may call Sunday, December 2, 2001 from noon until time of services at 2:00 p.m. Rev. William Hudson will officiate. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Hopedale, Ohio.
