Marjorie Blake

Marjorie M. Blake, 85, of Cadiz, formerly of Freeport, died Thursday, February 11, 2016 at Valley Hospice Care Center, North in Steubenville. She was born October 10, 1930 in Tippecanoe, Ohio, a daughter of the late Clyde and Tacy Smith Jenkins. Mrs. Blake was a retired Nurses Aid at the Harrison County Home and was a Presbyterian by faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Terry Blake; two sisters, Bernice Kirkbride and Vera Bretz; and a brother Ernest Jenkins. Surviving are two daughters, Robin (Danny) Whitehair of Cadiz and Bonnie Cain of Belmont; a son, Donald (Missy) Blake of New Athens; five grandchildren: Jason, Chris, Brian, Sarah and Sabrina; eleven great grandchildren: Terry, Blaine, Bryson, Chris, Haley, Randall, Skylar, Cheyenne, Caiden, Landon, and Azera; her cat and companion, Shady; and her special care givers.
