Mary Jane Tipton Conlon, 83, of Bellevue, Washington, formerly of Cadiz, Ohio, died July 7, 2002 in Bellevue. She was born August 29, 1918 in Avella, PA, a daughter of the late Louis and Palma Pallezzone. Mary was known for her giving nature and her spaghetti sauce. She was active in her church and the Order of the Eastern Star. She was an outgoing person who never knew a stranger. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Tipton and her second husband, Arthur Conlon; 4 brothers, Johnny, Alexander, Louis and Arthur Pallezzone; 1 sister, Delores VanSickle; and 1 grandson, Thomas Hilligas. Surviving are 1 son, Douglas (wife, Nancy) Tipton of Bellevue, WA; 1 daughter, Roberta (husband, Jim) Hilligas of Cadiz; 4 sisters, Angeline Alloggia of Steubenville, Margaret Marinacci of Greenwich, CT, Jennie Rensi of Steubenville, and Elizabeth (Betty) Duva, Canoga Park, CA. A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, September 22, 2002 at 1:00 p.m. at the Holly Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel in Pleasant Grove, Ohio.
