Mary Ray

Mary M. "Aunt Mickey" Ray, 91, of Cadiz, died Sunday, July 13, 2014 at Harrison Community Hospital, Cadiz, Ohio. She was born October 8, 1922 in Bay City, Michigan a daughter of the late Pete and Blanche Davia. She was a former member of the Springdale Friends Church and the Cadiz Church of God. She was preceded in death in addition to her parents; by her husband Kenneth Ray in 2012; a son, Gary Weaver; a great granddaughter, Lauren McKenzie; a sister, Leona Leigh; and 5 brothers: Joseph, William, Robert, Jack and Tom Davia. She is survived by 4 sons: William (Ruth Ann) Weaver of Cadiz, Kenneth (Toni) Ray of Hundred, WV, Rick Ray and Jeff (Tina) Ray all of Cadiz; 2 daughters: Cheryl (John) Ridgeway of Cadiz and Mary (Fred) Kelley of Scio; 19 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren; and a sister, Marlene (Henry) Kendziorski of New Athens, Ohio. Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 5-9 at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz where funeral service will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Donna Bishop officiating. Burial will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cadiz EMS, P.O. Box 8, Cadiz, Ohio 43907.
