Max L. Booth, 78, of Cadiz, died Sunday, June 1, 2014 at Harrison Community Hospital, Cadiz. He was born July 1, 1935 in Mannington, WV, a son of the late Charles and Genevieve Pearl Gray Booth. Max was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Cadiz, Harrison Lodge 219 F.&A.M., the U.S. Army Reserve, a volunteer at the Cadiz Food Pantry and was interested in cars and car shows.He was a truck driver for Consol and Ohio Machinery company until his retirement. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie A. Dunlap Booth in 2008 and a daughter Debra. Surviving are a son, Robert (Cindy) Booth of Dublin; two grandchildren Thomas Booth and Kyle Woods; a sister, Frankie Dot Cassell of Bolivar and his loving friend, Virginia Henderson of Cadiz. Friends may call Wednesday from 5-8 at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz, where funeral services will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Robert Hooker officiating.
