Melvin Bell Jr.

Melvin Bell, Jr., 74, of Carrollton, Ohio, passed away on November 02, 2023, at the Community Hospice Truman House in New Philadelphia, Ohio. He was born August 21, 1949, in Painesville, Ohio, a son of the late Melvin C. Bell Sr., and Louise Thomas Bell.

Melvin was a veteran having served in demolition in the United States Army in Vietnam. In civilian life after the army, he worked as a welder.

Melvin was proceeded in death in addition to his parents by his wife, Dorothy Ann Bell.

Melvin is survived by his wife, Arlene Driggs; and dear friends, Jerry Lucas Richards, and Duane A. Metts.

A private burial will take place at the convenience of the family.

The family is being assisted by Clark-Kirkland-Barr Funeral Home in Cadiz, Ohio.
