Michael H. Dowdle, 63, of Jewett, died Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at his home. He was born May 12, 1958 in Wheeling, West Virginia, a son of the late Harold Cloyd and Fannie Harris Dowdle.
Mike was a carpenter by trade.
He was preceded in death in addition to his parents, by 2 brothers: Steve and Jeff Dowdle; and a sister, Rebecca Brown.
Surviving are a daughter, Melissa Funkhouser and her husband Chris of Jewett; and 6 grandchildren: Alissa, Skylar, April, Belle, Ayden and Bently.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 7. 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Sally Buffalo Park, Pavilion 5 & 6, Cadiz, with Pastor Thomas Funkhouser and his daughter Melissa Funkhouser officiating. The family is being assisted by Clark-Kirkland-Barr Funeral Home, Cadiz, Ohio.
