Nancy Kay Whitlatch

Nancy Kay Whitlatch, 77, of Cadiz, Ohio passed away on March 12, 2024, at Trinity West in Steubenville, Ohio.  She was born on February 2,1947 in McArthur, Ohio, a daughter of the late George Thatcher Sr. and Minnie Pollard.  

Over the years Nancy worked for the Lafferty Moose Lodge, R & F Coal Co. and Martin Marietta Materials.  She also achieved an associate degree in accounting from Belmont Technical College.  Nancy’s hobbies included cross stitch, quilting with friends, listening to her grandson play musical instruments, playing games on her iPad and reading. 

She was preceded in death in addition to her parents by infant sons John & James Namyslosky, sister Barbara Rodes and brother George Thatcher Jr. 

She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Mike Whitlatch; daughter, Belinda Namyslosky Cochran and grandson, Thomas Luke Cochran; Siblings: Donna (Dan) Smith, Vickie (Russell) Westfall, Michael (Jackie) Thatcher, Rick (Judy) Thatcher and Jimmy Thatcher.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at the First Church of God, 227 W Warren Street, Cadiz, Ohio 43907 with Pastor Craig Haney officiating.
