Opal Patrick

Opal L. Patrick, 92, of Byesville, formerly of Cadiz, died Sunday, May 15, 2016 the home of her daughter. She was born September 1, 1923 in Clarington, Ohio, a daughter of the late James Melvin and Mary Elizabeth Smith Harris. Opal was a homemaker. She enjoyed quilting and was a cat lover. She like listening to the Statler Brothers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Patrick in 1980; two grandsons; infant twin great grandsons; and a sister, Erma Toole. Surviving are three children: Barbara (Randy) Bean, with whom she resided, Charles (Rose) Patrick of Cadiz, and Janet Garman of Colfax, CA; eight grandchildren; twenty five great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren; two nieces and a nephew. Friends may callWednesday from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz. Burial will follow at Cadiz Union Cemetery.
